We've been incredibly busy and just haven't had the time to update this blog with all our adventures over block leave. We've been to St. Lucia for a much-needed vacation, Philadelphia for Christmas, and are heading to Phoenix and the Grand Canyon tomorrow. When we finally stop travelling, we will make time to go through our 500+ pictures and post some for your enjoyment.
The biggest news right now is that Matt has been accepted to the Army's JAG program and will be attending law school beginning in the fall 2008 semester! We plan to move sometime in June or July - although we don't yet know where we will be going.
We had a marvelous time bringing in 2008 at the North Carolina Symphony Gala, and can't wait to see what the year brings us. Here's to a wonderful, healthy, and happy New Year - together!

Behind "7th Most Popular"
You say common, we say popular. According to the 1990 census, Miller is the 7th most common surname in these United States. Has that ranking changed in the past 18 years? Most likely, but since the U.S. Census Bureau has apparently decided to take their time tallying the results from the 2000 census, it's all we've got to work with. Will we change the name when they release the "new" data? Of course not - they're the ones who procrastinated.
