We heard back from one of our top schools today - skinny envelope notwithstanding, it was an acceptance to the University of Maryland! Not only is it a top tier law school, but it's a great city (and home to Naomi, Anthony, and Riese!).

Behind "7th Most Popular"
You say common, we say popular. According to the 1990 census, Miller is the 7th most common surname in these United States. Has that ranking changed in the past 18 years? Most likely, but since the U.S. Census Bureau has apparently decided to take their time tallying the results from the 2000 census, it's all we've got to work with. Will we change the name when they release the "new" data? Of course not - they're the ones who procrastinated.
