Multi-Talented and Carnies

We have been graced with the presence of dope rapper Multi-Talented (also the recipient of New England's Most Promising Young Teacher award) over the past few days. One of our oldest and dearest friends, Susan, visited this weekend as part of her "North Carolina '08" tour. We'd probably be considered pretty cool by her 7th grade students, since we get to call her by her first name and everything!

On Saturday, we went for a long hike at Raven Rock State Park, and managed to wrap up right before the rain really started coming down.

On Sunday night, we decided to brave the carnival that had randomly populated the empty lot across the highway from the Super Wal-Mart (we're klassy that way). Susan claims I was "tough" with the carnies and that's why they gave us so much free stuff.
