I have never been so happy to rip a page off my desk calendar at work. Matt will leave Iraq THIS MONTH. Work and life will keep me ridiculously busy over the next four weeks, which I'm hoping will speed the tail end of this deployment along.
1-505 suffered a casualty late last week in yet another reminder that we're never out of the woods until he's actually home in my arms. It's almost over. Almost.

Behind "7th Most Popular"
You say common, we say popular. According to the 1990 census, Miller is the 7th most common surname in these United States. Has that ranking changed in the past 18 years? Most likely, but since the U.S. Census Bureau has apparently decided to take their time tallying the results from the 2000 census, it's all we've got to work with. Will we change the name when they release the "new" data? Of course not - they're the ones who procrastinated.
